like right now this is near by but its not showing up i dont know if its in range of me and my radar just happens to skip over it or if this is a glitch
you mean the signal with hail error ? it can be in any distance till 7000 m (even outside the lidar range)
this signal is from a pod with damaged transponder, you can not see at the lidar a arrow where it is, this type of objects are hard to find since they can be in any direction up to 7000 m away.
This. Your LIDAR system will emit a PING when the sweep hit an very high albedo object (such as a ship). Keep in mind that since a LIDAR use a light ray to detect objects, if the anomaly you're trying to find is behind another object, the LIDAR will not be able to "see" it.
