Skins / Paint Jobs

I have noticed that in the dealer some ships have a shiny clean look / paint job (K37 & Cothon-212 in particular) in the preview and would really prefer this to the brown that my ships seem to have. I also notice that some Prospectors seem to have nose paint too.

I know I can use custom Skins but I am really bad at Image manipulation and have not been able to get that shiny clean look. It doesn't help that there doesn't seem to be a place where people share skins either. (Opportunity for Steam Workshop?)

Can we get these alt skins for our ships?

PS. Been really enjoying the game.
