Moonbreaker

Moonbreaker

Genuine Question About Player Count/Interest
Have the developers addressed the low player count the game currently has? If so, do they have any plans to boost those numbers? Given that Moonbreaker seems to have been designed with competitive multiplayer in mind, I cannot help but wonder if they're already cutting their losses given the overall lack of interest.

The model painting is extremely well done based on the video examples I've seen, and it would be a shame to see such an excellent feature go to waste. Anyone have news on the situation? Perpetual silence from the developers at such a critical time is not a good sign, especially days after the game's release. Private matches arranged via discord or small friend circles will not be enough to keep this game supported with more content in the long term.

Think they have some sponsored streams planned so maybe that helps get more people made aware of the game if some tabletop youtubers pick it up (ideally I wanna see some good painters)

Bricky did an excellent video on this game. For free. And his audience is quite large. And the right audience for this type of game. (I think.) His video made the peak players go from 30, to 370. Maybe if we get 10 such videos. Then it might be worthwhile to pick the game up...

I hope we can get something more tangible as well.

For like one day, 10 months ago.

Two weeks later, half of those players had quit. Four weeks later, all of them quit. Advertising is all good to get people to try your game, but the problem with Moonbreaker is that the people who try don't think it's fun and quit playing. Moonbreaker doesn't have an advertising problem, it has a bad game problem.

I think its good. The game is real quality, the painting is awesome, I think the improvements from EA to now, show a lot of effort. I think at the very least if you buy in you're supporting the right sort of devs these guys have been really wonderful during EA and now.

The paint mechanic is indeed great, the gameplay itself is also great.
I'm a little bummed about lack of solo content but it was still worth it.

There's a reason you don't do early access for multiplayer games. It means your playerbase is strewn out instead of all concentrated in that one big release.

Problem is you need EA for balance and mechanics feedback but now gameplay is more set in stone
