VR support?
It's strange that there is no post about VR support. This game could be great with VR support... it simulates a tabletop miniature game, so it's PERFECT for VR interaction, see your minis, touch your minis, enjoy your minis...

So, it's weird that this game doesn't have VR support from the very beginning.
DEMEO is a great success and a great example of combining miniatures and VR.

That got real weird real quick...

As for the serious topic... no, it's not weird at all. You could make the same argument for console releases, mobile releases, switch ports, what you want. It's another platform that needs to be accounted for and developed for, including different controls, whole layer of bug-fixing and support ETC. And with that being said, VR is just not that big of a market. To top it off, it's unlikely a feature to earn players on the verge or loose players - unlike in flight sims for example.

Missed opportunity.

I would assume this will at some point get VR support, if not then the developers are missing a pretty big opportunity. Like you said, with DEMEO being what it is it seems weird that VR isn't at least being talked about with this game. I guess let's hope it does get support eventually cause even though the game looks promising I can't see myself purchasing without VR support.

Not knowing anything about this game, I saw an article mentioning that a miniatures game by the Subnautica devs was removing microtransactions. Popped in to see if said miniatures game had VR support, and forum search sent me here.

Batman Arkham VR had a model viewer that let you look at figures as life size projections or as (somewhat large) handheld action figures. It was really something else to hold the model and move it around, and I haven't seen a game really capitalize on the miniatures/action figure experience yet, with painting, customization, dioramas, etc.

On the other hand, Subnautica was one of my worse VR experiences -- tutorial text permanently locked off the screen, and the devs saying everything was working as intended. And then I think the expansion just didn't have VR support at all.
