Games that play like Moonbreaker / Duelyst / Stormbound

Hi, so I really like games of this type. I used to love a game called Duelyst but that went under, although, I am aware of the fan based revival that's in the works.

I was wondering. What games are like Moonbreaker? Like PvP based games that are turn based or what have you that play like the games I mentioned?

I'll be there on the 29th, but is there something similar already out there? Currently absolutely loving Stormbound!

I highly, highly recommend both Outwitters and Phobies. Outwitters is mobile only, although you can play it on bluestacks on PC. Phobies is mobile and Steam. Outwitters is a sublime, perfect game. Join the Facebook group for tournaments and such. Phobies is sort of like a grindable version of these games with many units to acquire and level up, also a truly excellent game.

I wonder if this will play like Bushido, it was a really cool samurai model game, but lack of support and making crazy range units, ruined the game, but I played it for a while.

PoxNora is the only other game that comes to mind besides those ones you mentioned that is similar to Moonbreaker. PoxNora had you building a deck and capturing resources to play your units out on a battlefield. It came out a good 10+ years ago though and only has a minimal playerbase these days (I think)

TFT is very good and has a nice 2v2 mode. Not exactly the same but similar.

Phobies is a pretty good game at the very beginning, but it is also obscenely P2W. I wouldn't personally recommend it to anyone unless they were rich enough to throw away a thousand dollars on a mobile game.

I will slightly disagree on that... you can basically pay to level up faster, but leveling up only gives a slight advantage unless you are way higher level than someone. They have tuned the matchmaking to try to get you with people near your level. You can play f2p or close to it and be very successful, in my experience (full disclosure, I did buy 1 starter pack).

Demeo is going to get a skirmish mode, but I couldn't tell you if it will be any good or not as its not in the game yet. But the base pve mode is fun enough and no MTX
