Stop time not working
I haven't found much information about this issue, so I started wondering whether I'm one of the very few who have this issue: pausing time rarely actually works. No matter what I do, most of the times I stop playing (and pause time before I quit), when I launch the game again all my fish died as time did not actually stop. I always go to the menu, hit pause, wait for the saving "thingy" to spin, and then I hit ESC and quit the game. Even when I tried just shutting the game down (windowed mode > hit the red "close window" button), the result was the same and I lost all my fish.
Is there any workaround? What am I missing here?

Also: do any of you know where the save game directory is for Fish Tycoon 2? I'm trying to find it to save a copy of the save files just in case my fish are murdered again.

I don't have any problem with the pause time. My fish grew up, but haven't died for probably weeks now.

Maybe stop time just means they won't get hungry, but sickness/missing special environment still hits?

Nah, it's not that. The autopsy shows that all fish died of starvation (and some due to sickness).
What exactly do you do when you pause the game? Just open the menu and hit pause?

Has been that way since some task wanted me to do something that cost 300 gems, which I didn't have, so I thought to just check in daily for now.

It looks exactly like mine. I have no idea what's up with my game. Seriously considering quitting it, even though I like it a lot. But I'm tired of spending gems to resurrect my fish.

Well well well...guess complaining was the solution. Launched the game and this time (one of the very few) it DID pause my game. But it was pure luck as I did nothing different before I quit my last session. Maybe it was that absurdly expensive/valuable fish that was among my baby fish that brought me luck.

Hm, if I remember right, I do have some magic fish.

Hope it'll continue working, in any case! :)

I paused my game i only put it on my pc yesterday paused it over night came back and all my fish were dead is the pause not working ???? please help

Hve the same problem, about 1/5 the time stop doesn't work.
Wrote a ticket abot it, answer I got back was: "past it on to the dev's"

Meanwhile the stop time button doesn't work at all anymore.
TIme between the two messages is less then a week.
I fthe dev's want people to spend money on their game, let them first get rid of those bugs!
