Who else thinks this is so boring?

This mini game seems so aimless. I just wandered around, and after the final screen, I found out that I am not at least interested in the fate of this kid and his dad. All that kiddy stuff isn't really my world. There is only one thing that got me interested; and that's mom's old record. Who is the artist?
As for the family and their story, they can get lost.
Am I heartless, or is it that this game is so boring?

I agree that it was not as engaging as a episode of LiS or Before the Storm.
But that was also not the point, it was supposed to be a small free teaser into the upcoming world
of Life is Strange 2.
For that it worked very well. I dont think i will ever replay Captain Spirit like LiS but i dont regret playing it.

Life is strange had Max but she was crazy and had decisions to watch while people dying without interact or prevent it from happening. Chris has one moment like this as well but we're going through his loss of his mom being hit by a car where Chris wishes to save his mother. In all it been a better story with increased drama. Mrs. Reynolds wasn't the neighbor but a secretary, Chris father Charles wasn't a nice guy. Charles throws the carkeys on Chris and Chris drives away to get the chrismas tree. Car slips of ice and drives down in a ditch. Chris crawls out and see the world going into Alcolypse where the alco-zombies taken over the world. To be continued...

I think the problem is there's basically no conversation in this game. I like exploring but it's really boring that the only one who talks to you is your abusive drunk dad. Yeah I know it's just a free teaser but still, boring.

I hate fact LiS and BtS have bad endings, but this time, when Chris falls of the tree, I was really excited and was hope he will break his stupid neck.

It was like: boring, boring, boring, boring... oh COME ON! They doing this sht again? Nevermind, finally this stupid kid get what he deserved... nope, he doesn't. BO-O-O-ORING!!!

Basicly you get what you would expect from the type of game. If you expected non stop action sequences or plot that develops in 10 minutes then yes, it might be boring for you.
