Anyone saw that the evil Mantroid is a word created from both streets where the mom died?

MANTle street and asterOID drive. Creepy!

If I remember right my girlfriend told me usually kids who feel guilty about events tend to do that. She said the samething for Before the Storm about the back seat driving moments.

Oh really? He sure keeps it in his mind forever doing this. And since the case of her death never been solved, is it a way to remember about it?

Oh jeez, when you are on red planet, you see the signs of the 2 streets and Mantroid said "You'll never catch me, NEVER"... so Mantroid is the person who hit and run and killed the mom. That's why he wants to fight him so hard. He wants to find who did that and make him pay.

I thought the same. And maybe this is some part of LIS 2. Finding the murderer of his mom.

At the very end, the dad blame Chris for the mom's death. Saying that this day, she took the car cuz of him and all. He really feels guilty and his dad puts it all on him aswell when he is drunk. Poor kid.

Maybe I got the impression it wasn't much different from how William died though. Then again reusing the same tragedy may also be unlikely unless that it is an intended link.

Yeah it made me thought of William aswell.. killed by another car/truck... :/
