Switch mode on arrow towers. What does it do?

As far as we have seen it just stops the arrow from attacking and what looks like a blue ^ shows up on the tower. costs 5 gold to shut it down is all it seems like. Does anyone know anything otherwise?

havent played in a long time so it might have changed, but switching modes on arrow towers used to switch between targeting ground and air units if i remember correctly

Hey, sorry we need to explain this a little better in game for sure - it's on the list! VindictaUK is right, "Switch Mode" makes the arrow towers attack air units or land units. If the tower is attacking air units, you will see some "up"/^ arrows being displayed on the sides of the tower base.

This means you do not have to buy an air tower so soon to kill dragons :)
