Only 1 character per account?

Having multiple characters doesn't affect the variety of gameplay available to you, so it's not a huge problem for most people that an account only starts with one character.

From what I saw, it has two classes, one with bow and one with sword, of course, which impairs gameplay variability

you unlock every class right after the start of the game, and after that you can change anytime, so i see no problem

Aaand here we can see you didn't play past character creation and just decided to throw a fit because of jumping to conclusions

If you even watched a trailer or read anything on the steam store page you'd know you can swap classes on the fly.
You could've also noticed this if you spent a few minutes in the game unlocking them and opening the player menu.

It's not like there are more races at the moment

They've been handing out free rebirth tickets as rewards so eh maybe we'll get a character slot when they add another race
