We have to admit that we didn't focus very intensively on such high resolutions. The general answer to your question is yes, the game will run on such resolutions and it will cover the whole screen. If your point about proper scaling means that there is no stretching at all, the answer is no. Some elements will be stretched. Fonts will not be affected so much.
