Unfortunately some crashes were introduced with our update in version 2.3.0. And although they were rare and and only occurred under certain circumstances, we fixid them. As version 2.3.1 didn't cover all the cases, we added another fix in version 2.3.2.

We uploaded a new version to steam (2.3.0) that fixes several smaller bugs and some crashes. We also introduced a way to automatically upload crash dumps. For further information please see this thread.

We just uploaded a new version to steam (2.2.0) that fixes an ugly bug when loading older save games. We have also tuned the balancing and added a new animation:


New animation
  • Show new animation when unit is on terrain/city that provides cover and activates its special skill "cover"
Balancing
  • More hitpoints for GI Fireteam
  • Infantry does more damagae against tanks
  • Anti-tank-troopers now have special skill "bazooka" against tanks, their default weapon is a machine gun
  • Saboteurs have bigger target size
  • Snipers have bigger target size
  • Rangers have bigger target size

Bug fixes
  • Fixed strange behavior (crashes/missing graphics/...) after loading older savegames
  • Fixed several bugs in skill "cover"

After fixing and tweaking some things we finally decided to make the early adopter branch the new official version 2.0.0 as we think it's now time to introduce all the major changes to everyone playing the game.
Of course we are aware that there are still some issues we have to (and will) take care of .

  • Special skill "Tracers" has higher range (artillery and infantry)
  • "Flak Post" has higher weapon range

  • Artillery can use special skill "Tracers" only against planes

Version 1.7.0 (7 Nov 2019)

We have uploaded a new update for you with a new level - level 10: Southern Germany.
The special skills now finally display more information, we hope you like it.
Some new graphics and balancing changes have also been made.
And frankycl refined the default color scheme for the range display, thanks a lot.
As before if you made some changes in the options you might want to delete the old scheme (in [Documents]\Linked Dimensions \TOEC Remastered\colors.xml) or reset to default in the options.

Version 1.6.0 (1 Nov 2019)


So, here is another update for you, which brings some major changes.
First of all, we have added level 9. Even if you already played it in the early adopter branch you still might want to have another look because we made some changes there.
We also added sandbags as a new gameplay element. You can build them on certain terrain tiles and they protect all (your and the enemy's) units on that tile.
The way units are loaded into ther skytrain has also changed: You first have to land the plane on a landing strip next to an airfield before units can enter. After landing the skytrain can take off again in the next round.


And finally the changes in the early adopter branch have been integrated. So you now have a much more detailed display of weapon/skill/visual ranges.
Thanks a lot to our community member frankycl for setting the colors and shapes here, great work.
If you had already started the early adopter branch chances are that you first have to delete the old color scheme (in [Documents]\Linked Dimensions \TOEC Remastered\colors.xml) in order to see the new colors.

You can also change these settings and some control keys now yourself, as we added a lot of new settings to the options menu.

We also added two new units: a small flak bunker and a transport plane. Carry your units over a large distance and drop them off where needed. But beware: After the drop-off the units can't do anything until the next round.

Please note:
- When you load an older savegame the unit will load the old hitpoints it had i.e. even a completely undamaged unit won't have full health. So to fully experience the level/design tweaks please restart the level



- If you encounter a crash in version 0.5.5 (even if you already reported it for earlier versions), please report it again (with dump + log file, see https://steamcommunity.com/app/844860/discussions/0/1643167006305720832/) because as of now we have either fixed all crashs that were reported or couldn't evaluate the older dump files (especially for crashes when starting mission 1)
