Report a translation problem
In Dark Souls, death was ever present but your progress was, to an extent saved. You didn't lose your gear and you were returned to the last bonfire used, plus there was the chance to reclaim what you lost if you had enough skill. There was frustration but also hope.
If this was a Dark Souls game I'd simply put it down to "Git gud". But it is not. So I'd suggest you find a weapon you can use well enough to survive and level up the chips to improve your survivability.
But, i wouldn't want to see a quick save function, it would neglect the genres essence.
