Why has the K98 no iron sight ring

Has been brought up before. The K98 was supplied with and without the ring, so either works, they did suggest in the last tea time with the devs it might come be added, but isn't a priority.

the hood gives a better targetting picture and is hardly any hard developement work to include as optional...

The K98 had a hood over the foresight, not the rear sight.

not all k98 came with a front sight hood,i have two with out the groves for the hood and anothe
3 with the sight hoods
