Close Combat 2 - A Bridge Too Far
I am 65 years old and over the years have paid full price for just a handful of games. (COH, Battlefield 1942). Until today I have never paid for a game which is not even available!

After watching the streams from a couple of weekends ago, I have paid my money and hopefully will be playing the test tomorrow. If you have ever played that beautiful game Close Combat 2 for years like i did online, then you will fully understand my excitement ----- Driel, Oosterbeek etc etc

Currently I am on the test server walking toward Driel rail bridge....

Its nice too see "old" gamers out there (You are not really that old for todays standards). In 30+ years i want to be like you guys I hope you enjoy the game because is great :D

I already had the chance of playing it at the former weekend test. It was a blast and the community is very friendly. Age does not matter at all - communication, skill and teamwork are key in this game.
I wish you a lot of fun and explosions at the upcoming weekend. See you on the battlefield!

I am 23, but i have played Close Combat from time to time. Altho i do prefer the more "Beer & Pretzels" games such as Panzer Corps or any Panzer General clone.

I played a bit of Post Scriptum and its very cool, the test phase is a bit jerky and all, but still overall a fun and complex game!

I used to play Close Combat: Battle Of The Bulge, was a great game. If you need any assistance, join us in Discord where the developers hang out as well: https://discord.gg/Zz8ff9p

I loved playing the older Close Combat games. I've played A Bridge Too Far, Invasion Normandy, and Battle of the Bulge. I still have the Invasion Normandy menu theme in my head, that jazz remix of the US Artillery march is spot on!

A Bridge Too Far recently came out on GoG, The grand campaign is still as mammoth an undertaking as ever, and you can definitely see some familiar looking places in Post Scriptum.

Man Close Combat was the first game I played back on PC in the 90's with my dad lol. 4,5 years old when it came out.

Didn't understand what I was really doing back then, but I remember ol' Close Combat. Was fun though.

LOVE Bridge to Far. Such a fine classic and it taught me the finer points of overcoming armor with infantry assets. This game felt like a third person Bridge to Far, so you should enjoy it
