Clearly, this game was made with a lot of love. If you ever want to experience what the internet used to feel like in the 90s and early 2000s, this is one of the only ways to do it. If you were a web surfer in that era, you’ll often run into areas of the game where you’ll say, “Oh yea, I remember that was a thing.” The graphics are cool and the writing is funny. There’s a lot of variety in this virtual mini webspace. But I couldn’t get through the game. As many goodies as there were to find, at a certain point, I just wasn’t having fun. It’s a cute toy, but the puzzles and tasks are uninteresting and sometimes tedious or unfair.

I literally couldn't get the game to work beyond the startup and save/load screen. Took three restarts to see the tutorial, but none of the other icons would pop up, and when 2 of them did, they just didn't work. Apparently this was a rare bug a year ago that affected like one or two people. I guess I'm in super-rare company.

This game does a great job of recreating the internet at a time when it wasn't something that was constantly required in daily life-- where you'd want to actively log on and spend your time.

Amazing soundtrack, extremely fitting art style, and the way characters are written and developed is perfect. Rumors of things like "MOVE YOUR MOUSE TO LOAD FASTER", the rise and fall of early online music movements, and fear of Y2K are just the tip of the iceberg of what you'll get into.

Can't recommend enough.

This was such a fun and interesting game. I loved the late 90s style interface and the different investigations throughout. It took me a while to fully learn the game and how to find hidden things in the interface. It was so enjoyable and has good replayability. These are some of my favorite forms of games. 10/10
