Some computers experience weirdness with audio memory when playing HSO. If you like, you can try using "Aggressive Audio Memory Management" in the BIOS settings. You can access BIOS by holding 'B' during initial startup, or by clicking the BIOS button at the bottom-right on the login menu. There, check the box next to the Aggressive Audio option.

Let me know if this helps!

Hey Dev! (Love the game, this is my second playthrough to get the new achievements.)
I have tried the Aggressive Audio Management, and I was still experiencing the same issues.
When I first played it was on my pre-upgraded PC, on Windows 8.1, and I do not remember any audio or framerate issues throughout all my playthrough.
But on my current PC build I am running Windows 10 Home Edition. Idk if this would affect anything?
Is there a way to access more settings, or would this fall more into modding at this point?

Unfortunately that's pretty much it :( Are there certain points where the game chugs more than others? We're actually working on some optimizations that miiight help, so stay tuned for those!

usually when loading into teentopia, goodtime valley, and all those

Ahh in the zone pages specifically. Okay, the optimizations we've made should help there. We'll have an update out soon, hopefully within the next month. If you'd like to be among the first to see the update, sign up for the beta track in Steam, using password ~removed~ :)
