Is this a horror game?

I saw this game and instantly fell in love with the aesthetics, however I was pretty surprised that the game wasn't classified as a horror game anywhere on the page. For some reason I just assumed it was scary in some way, maybe with some cheap jumpscares or something.

Basically, is this game scary in any way or am I just being paranoid? Either way I'll probably check it out, I just want to somewhat know what I'm in for :P

Nah not really. There are horror-y bits but that's not the selling point or focus. :)

That's why you never experienced the sheer terror of it, when it get's stuck and you open it to witness the madness inside.

Just so you know, there is a part that involves a virus spreading "shock images," but (this is a description of the event, so only read this if you're still on the fence and want to be sure) they're not actual shock images. They're just very light body-horror photoshop things. No blood or anything. Think distorted images of feet and such.

Since there is fake malware with fake shocksites in the game, I just wanted to know if there is any jumpscares/volume spikes that goes along with any of that, or on any of the in-game pages?

Not that I've encountered, and I've finished the game (though not 100%ed it).
