Has anyone actually tried making Granny Cream's Hot Butter Icecream?

Butter is just dairy fat, which ice cream already has in it, so it would depend on just how much butter is mixed in. If you add too much it would just end up kind of gross and greasy.

As far as drinking heated ice cream... I mean, personally I'll pass. Melted ice cream sure, but not actively heated. That said, you could probably go get a pint and heat it up, and find out for yourself if you really want.

I only have frozen yogurt and margarine, sadly. I feel like that'd be going against the spirit of Granny Cream.
