Won't load - stuck at 60% "Connecting"

Anyone have any ideas? Can't get past the "Connecting" message stuck at 60%.

Hey Hopeybee, hopefully this was a one-time/temporary issue with the loading. Are you still stuck at 60%? I'm checking with the dev team to see if there is any potential issue on our side.

I've got the same issue....Left it for hours and no resolve. Also looked at my firewall...Didn't fix the issue.

I also have this issue, verifying and reinstalling has not changed it

This is likely due to the game requiring internet connection. Sorry for that. We're working on an offline mode that will be live sometime next month.

@sarasomebody There is an active internet connection. We had assumed that the game was not connecting for some reason. We've tried disabling Avast anti-virus (no change) and checked that the game has permissions under Windows Defender Firewall. We also tried whether it made any difference running on a sub account or on the administrators account, also no difference. We tried installing on another computer, but no difference.

We're having the same problem. It hits 60% the freezes. and no problems with the internet here.

i am having the same thing happened just bought today cant play it staying on 60% fix it when you can

If you go into the Help tab then select steam support you can get a refund. i don't exactly remember how to do it but you can look up a video on how
