You were ahead of your time.
Please hop on this new hype train and keep at it. The new headsets coming out with color stereo pass through need you.

I'm happy there is someone who has the funding and resources to do mixed reality justice. I really needed Reality Blender to take off to be able to finish it. Shame it didn't happen.

Yeah, that's tough.
I'm working on something similar with the Cam Circle feature in my app Stop Sign VR Tools.

Looks cool.
What headsets are coming with cameras?

Thanks.
Original HTC Vive, Vive Pro (1 and 2) and Valve Index have cameras that accessible to the developer.
Other headsets, like HTC Vive Cosmos, WMR headsets and Oculus, have cameras, but the cameras can't be used in third party apps.

Thanks. I find the Lynx most interesting of that group.
Varjo already have their own mixed reality software so Reality Blender wouldn't be needed in that case. I would love to have finished the stereo camera support with an Index however Valve hate dealing with Australian consumer law and refuse to sell hardware here :(
Maybe there is hope to revive the app in the future?

I didn't know doing this was possible until I saw the Varjo flight sim demo. You were ahead of your time. I am disappointed as well that this didn't take off. It would be perfect for flight sims using real world cockpits. I have seen some older posts on the flight sim forums about doing this type of interface. The posts were kind of a wish type of thing and predate your software, some were from 2015. In 2015 I don't think the hardware would have been fast enough to render everything properly. I think the Varjo headset and software are way too expensive for the home user market and it requires an expensive yearly subscription. I am currently building a home cockpit and found this project after seeing the varjo demo as an alternative to using projectors and screens. Here's hoping you might revisit this project in the future.

This is a feature of another app, called Reality Mixer. It has a "Create Cockpit" button which creates a sort of half open box around you. The camera feed from the headset (HTC Vive (Pro) or Valve Index) is projected in this box so you can see your legs and hands if you look down.

Yes I have looked at reality mixer. Unfortunately I don't have a Vive or Valve index, I have hp reverb 2 and a pimax 8k. So I would need an external camera feed.
