Touch controllers not working in this game!!!! (FIXED!)

Hi, just bought this game and although I have working Oculus touch controllers, I can't choose them at the beginning of the game! When the game starts there is a tutorial saying I should choose between "steering with head" or "steering with hands (recommended for best experience)". But I can only choose the left (=first) option. The second one is marked with "connecting hands" and I can't choose it! They never get "connected"!??! So I had to choose "head steering" (not recommended!!!) and somewhere in the tutorial when I learn to use boost I have to pull the touch-contoller triggers and this works (!??). So I thought okay, now they are connected and in the menu I wanted to change to "steering with hands" but then I had to restart the tutorial and again I can't choose the Touch controllers! WTF!!!!???
I don't buy this game and can't use the recommended steering method for best experience. Of course I want the best experience! My controllers work in all other VR games and I have many...
So devs, can you PLEASE help me!!
Otherwise I will have to refund the game but this would be a pity...

Game is a horror! It looks so good but it simply doesn't work with my Oculus Rift. First problem (see above) is that the touch controllers can't be connected. Second problem: when I start a race I have some terrible textures of my own bodypart (wingsuit) blocking my view. So I see the beautiful landscape but parts of my view are blocked by a wrong camera position it seems. Does this game really work with Oculus Rift or only with HTC Vive??? Please answer soon or I will have to refund the game...

Sorry guys! Problem was on my side. I had to restart the PC and now it works! You can delete this thread...

My problem is that I can't choose anything at all. the choice is highlighted by the helmet (head), but the controllers are not active and I cannot select anything. The wheel is constantly spinning on Connecting hans ... I tried to restart the computer and the Quest 2 helmet, but nothing helps. What can be wrong?

still the same error on 2024 with occulus quest 2. sometime it worked but the most of time steam VR crash and occulus mode doesn't recognized controller. I'm not able anymore to start it and nobidy seems to care about this bahaviour found many time on forum. Last game from binary however i like this game. it's shame
