Criteria for Immortal run

Are you allowed to use console commands like timescale and noclip? Can you exit the game at any point and load a save? I starting falling thru the map on the forest level, paused, and turned on noclip to save the run. After winning the achievement didn't pop.

Working on an Immortal run myself, I'm curious as to whether you shot Henrique or not? You're technically sacrificing yourself if you don't choose the bad ending, so it's possible that might have counted.

Also would like to know if you're allowed to return to a checkpoint from the pause menu, or if that would also count as "dying".

I did not and that's a good point. Sucks to go thru the whole thing and then potentially choose incorrectly at the end. Let me know how your run works out. I played it all the way through without quitting.

Yes you can cheat, it does not make it so you cant get achievements. I think it didn't give it because you didn't start on a fresh save.

Ahhh so I ran it under NG+ and I currently cannot create new save slots due to a bug. I'll have to try again when that's fixed.

What is the bug? Are you making a new save file from the menu in the bottom left corner?

The devs are aware of it. I am unable to create a new save slot. They need to patch it. I have every achievement except Immortal and Purist so obviously I need to be able to create new saves before I can do that. The other option would be to wipe out my current save manually from the folder which I might do anyway.

you could always just copy the save folder for your current save, wipe the original, and then you'll be able to copy the old one back in if you need to.

Loading saves is something you can get away with. Did it in my play through.

Good to know; I had a couple of rare "clip through the floor and die in two seconds, but enough time to load a save" moments during my purist run.

Thanks, I renamed my entire Zulubo Productions folder and I have a clean save to work from now. Here I go!

Just got the achievement without killing him. Didn't even bother meeting Kauboi. Fresh save slot was required. Got 'em all now!
