Challenge Mode - Space Travel

Can you do it? I've started in Challenge Mode on Proteus. Will I be able to travel to the other planets too?

I do not know .. I am working up to that in challenge mode right now. Currently in this video series, he has NOT been able to fly in challenge mode:

Thanks for that. I am not looking forward to making and transporting hydrazine.

In my experience, I have never had to refuel my Corsair. I have not actually built the Larger Ship/Space Station yet in Challenge Mode. I did grab some liquid tanks and fill them with hydrazine. I also made Gas Tanks and filled them full of N2/H2 so it is faster to replenish the hydrazine with the 4 tanks in a group. I use a buggie that is modified with the tank upgrade to gather the gasses from the vents. (You do need a barrel to go back and forth to fill up tanks, etc., and you need the empty water containers to gather the methane.) I do it in a large run and make mass batches.

I wish I could get that far. So far I am unable to build a base. I repaired the airlock at Zeta base but could not attach a habitat even if I repaired the hallway. I tried to build an airlock on it's own but it won't do it. Saying that it needs to attach to a coupler. In a location beside Tumbo I tried but couldn't complete the airlock there and in the habitat I could install a few wall but other walls wouldn't give me a prompt to build and I need to build to get much further. Getting lots of ore from my extractors though.

I fixed my problem at Tumbo.

I repaired all the damaged bases to the point where I could tear them down and then built a base in the empty location of Pheonix Base :)

I like that location beside all the Space Debris in the Worm graveyard and a major road .. and beside a mine.
