Things to note about the radar dish, broken screens and bugs and such.
new build is really buggy

the brass tax.

Pace your missions dont rush past a mission because you know where to farm the mats or you know what your doing. missions are supppper buggy and can get stuck.

radar dish password is unknown at this point. i will point out that zeta mine is the only mine that is marked on the map so this might be related to the mission i know in one of the beta builds years ago this mission was somewhat compete but it involved going to alpha refinery which is no longer on the map physically. so the password might be in a chest or body in one of the mines. it doesnt seem to be on the surface.

as for unobtainable mission items everything you need spawns in the reinforced crate that spawn on the map it shows up as a "metallic object" and seems to be 50/50 on if its a space sat or loot crate.

the crate can include high tier ores, ingots, guns, as well as broken screens, oxygen propellant, blue batteries,

ALL LOOT IS RNG BASED so good luck

satelite just had space debris ive heard rumor of the mech spanner giving higher tiered debris but have yet to test this.

bugs ive encountered.

1. satelite loses its mission tag and thus its password prompt once you fix it and save and reload. locking progression.

2. solar panel mission bug seems to be present still but not prevelant.

3. creatures will follow you for a very long time not sure if this is intended.

4. creatures seem to be to fast they also seem to be missing their hits.

4.1 snubs will hit me about 3-5 times while the other times they zoom past me like a rocket.
4.2 skelio pods miss roughly 4-5 their shots and are incredibly hard to hit. adults are easier to hit.
4.3 crab spider thing is not interested in the player at all or lacks attack animations. or at least seems to be somewhat passive.
4.4 Gnats seem to be non existent i assume they are going to be used for the caves and night time.

5. none if at all of the suit mods dont work and the back pack mod hangs like half a foot off the back exposing the inside.

5.1 the suit mod for the boots that you can find in the crash site completly negate hover.

6. glass container is bugged, equipping it disables any prompts. current workaround is to scroll/ change items back and forth and spam f or w.e your interaction/gather key is.

6.1 botanical kit cant be repaired dont know if this is intended. it also doesnt break dont know if thats intended.

*challenge mode seems to be soft locked at certain points. havent fully tested yet.*

please know that the dev commands can be accesed using * / * key and typing creative or test in the text chat. this should help you if any of you wish to further test things.

some things ive tested in creative mode.

1. fast travelling to zer via space station puts you under the seat making you stuck there forever no known fix for this to my knowlegde.

2. turrets dont register the new power node system and dont work or they dont register the new creature A.I and dont work. *tested in regular mode with "/" command.*

3. cant find seeds cant make seeds. *tested in regular mode and creative mode with "/" command

point 6 can worked around by being in third person view as well

anecdotally point 2 can be fixed by removing all saves for experimental, possibly also the folder; someone on discord said they saw here on steam but I have searched personally, and have not tried this "fix" to confirm

good points all round though :)

Just can't, for the love of god, find a broken computer screen... And the snubs are really annoying. This game is going from bad to worse.

Bug I've encountered is if you repair something before the quest tells you to it doesn't update the mission either way. I've had to restart 3x already on story mode because of this type of bug.

I've found that half of the creatures aren't even spawning. I try to spawn a crab monster? Spawns a larva skeliopod. Try to spawn a Colussus? Spawns a larva snubs. Try to spawn a spider? Spawns a larva snubs. Try to spawn a Claws? Spawns a larva snubs.

I've also noticed that the map isn't matching the actual world in most places, and it seems that facilities like Refinery Site Alfheim and Jotunnheim are just *gone* now. I tried flying to their coordinates, but I now hit the edge of the map - it seems that the wiki is YEARS out of date.

Finally, the most infuriating thing, is that the warp command is almost 100% broken. The ONLY command that works with it is Warp Unstuck, but that is still useless 95% of the time. When I exited my space ship near the border between site A and B to try to look at my coordinates (since for some reason it doesn't display them on the map screen, only the minimap, which is hidden while flying), upon hitting F it either deleted my ship and clipped me into the ground, or moved me to the other site and still had me below the ground, causing me to enter an infinite falling loop. I tried turning on invulnerability (since I was still taking fall damage) and spamming warp unstuck, but I could not get far enough above the ground to stop falling through it. I then turned off invulnerability to see if killing the player would bring me back to my last save point... AND IT RESPAWNED ME IN THE SAME PLACE, PERPETUALLY FALLING AT THE EDGE OF THE MAP.

I'm liking the new direction with the story mode, but BY GOD it is filled with bugs right now.
