Comms Relay 1

I click it and all it says is something about no cost to repair, any help or ideas would be appreciated

Same issue here. The relay *SPOILER ALERT* inside the nearby mine throws an error about "no build cost for this item". I'm stuck unable to progress any further.

I found out by hitting "/" then typing in creative then enter I was able to continue the story line. I shut it off after I completed that part. It does seem that there is 3 comms and you will have to do the same for each one I found out. I completed the story all the way

Where did you find relay 1? I've found 2 and 3, but can't find relay 1. I'm running the latest experimental version.. do I need to start all over to see those fixes?

Comms Relay 1 is in Alpha Mine. Alpha Mine Entrance "A" is very near the the large satellite dish you repair in the story mission; -8.5 lat, +6.9 long. I just followed the lamps in the mine and eventually made it to the relay room. You'll know your on track when you pass Alpha Mine Entrance "B" on your right. The outside location of Alpha Mine Entrance "B" is +1.5 lat, +0.0 long. If you elect to access from "B", just turn right and keep heading on down following the little lamps.

Thanks for the tip about creative mode.. how to you make the large dish work from that point? It said access the dish, but there is nothing to activate there, not even using creative cheat. That is the end of the story? Unsolved bug?

I am not sure if it is a bug, but I had to put my character to sleep for each Comms and the Satellite too.

Seems they turned off the developer modes with the latest patch. I can't access the dish either.

Same here.. after a patch the game just crash back to steam.. I run the local files validation.. found some corrupted files and fixed them. Now the developer mode is no longer available. I'm playing the experimental version.

yea, i read in the recent update for regular game they turned it off. accept for private server and creation. I was wondering how long it would take them before they realized. I am still wondering can you repair the comms now or not. Cause if not they did this on purpose and really nerfed the game. Goodluck
