Also whole deposits in mine & hives respawns everytime start load the game, even with Finite setting turned on.
Almost like the salvage yield needs to be higher, or random debris drops need to be a thing.
Any extra guns or tools can be broken down for some very useful spare parts. Recycling fuel cells gives the blue batteries but care is needed to prevent the spaceship from getting locked out. Plastic has become very easy by making cloth from fibres then dropping it into the forge to get plastic.
Progression has become a bit more linear than it used to be with certain things being a much higher priority that others to prevent locking progress. Although the recycling does seem to be robust enough that dismantling and recycling materials should be enough to prevent a total restart of a playthrough.
