Mission Broken Barrel *(cannot pass it)

Please, tell me how *step by step (where, when and on what clicking) repair a broken barrel.
I have workbench, broken barrel, makeshift patch tape and scrap metal.
I was trying to repair standing in front to workbanch, then pushing "g" (g - repairing), and then (having everything in inventory) trying to click on the broken barrel and move it to the repair window in center of the screen. Impossible. It's going back to inventory and nothing happens.
If it's possibly also you can make a short movie how you doing it - easier way for me, I'm speaking polish, so try to make instruction easy to read, but full of important details.

Press F to use the workbench and then select the Barrel Icon. That should get your barrel fixed.

select Barrel Icon , ok , but how ? clicking left mouse button on the icon, or right? When I'm doing that nothing happens. I will try again after moment. If not then maybe you join to my private server and do it for me?

Just looked at it in the game.
Go to the repair bench
Press F for USE, not B or G
Scroll down to the barrel
Left click the barrel
You need to have 1 scrap metal, 1 makeshift patch tape and 1 broken barrel
Make sure the icons for the parts needed are showing green numbers not red. Red means you are missing something
