Conjuror or Conjurer?

so i found monster named conjuror and class name conjurer. is this a spelling mistake in game? it seems it should be corrected unless its to differentiate the class and monster name.

it might be in order not to confuse the two? it seems conjurer is the correct spelling but they may have named the monster conjuror for a reason.

That's most likely an error from the original game's monster list that was never caught/amended during production. It's also possible that it was, but was simply left as is but I imagine it was just something that slipped through.

its possible that correcting the spelling may mess with the games data. but not that sure about that. i know monsters have limited spell lists compared to player characters.

The monster spelling is easily tweakable- just a matter of poking around in the localization files. That probably applies to the player spelling too, but that would be spread much further around.

I don't think it was a mistake at all I believe it was the same in the original game on the Apple and c64
