Portals - Sewers L2

I have mapped out this level and found twp portals.
Used PHDO to acces square next to portal and entered the square- no effect.
Used LEVI but that's intended to RISE up a portal not down.
So, I checked the manual in case there's a spell (have Magician L6 and sorcerer L4) but no sign of a spelll, even one I can't use.

Q: How do I DESCEND a down portal, please?

Use the menu on the right side of the view window. It looks like a pit with an arrow pointing down.

Have to have LEVI togo up, Use up and down arrow keys

You can also use Z to go down a portal, and Q to go up.

Found that yeah, when I accesd that R menu.

I prefer keyboard shortcuts too, which I suppose is why I missed the menu item in the first place!
