If you just started, it may because your Bard is lv. 1. A lv. 1 bard can sing 1 song max, while a lv. 10 bard can sing 10 songs max. So, if you're lv. 1 and you can only sing 1 song, drinking wine should only help when you're down to 0 songs. 1 song is your max.

I don't think you can? There's only one temple I know of that offers free healing to members, which is the Thief Temple. Only Rogues receive free healing. The only way to be a member is to be a Rogue.

Because...they sleep at night? There are other places where the employees don't sleep at night. That is just how the game is designed. Some places close at night. You can fast-forward to morning by going to the Adventurer's Guild.

If you hit F2, you should be able to see a map of the city. If you hit F1, you should be able to see a user's manual that can explain a lot of this information to you. According to the F2 map, the weapon shop is just north of the Adventurer's Guild. I believe you step maybe 3 steps North and 1 step East from the Adventurer's Guild to enter the Weapon Shop.

The Thief Temple assist was a little secret we put in when doing the remaster. The temple had an interesting name yet wasn't any different from the others in the original game, so we decided to put in a small secret that if you had a rogue in your party, they were treated for free. I don't think we wrote that into the manual, though I think we tweaked the language at the temple to hint about it (it's been a while). Mainly, though, we just left it for players to discover and share with others. That's cool to see that people have picked up on it. :-)

@jworf999-You could at least thank Marcycle for thoroughly answering each of your questions, or even better, select what he said as an answer to those questions. Courtesy and all that....

np, I don't require awards or thanks. Just pay it forward and answer questions for others who play games you enjoy. ^_^

(U)se the item. Tap the (U) key.

If you hit F1 and cycle to Controls->Actions, you can see this information. Some items must be equipped to (U)se, depending upon your settings.
