How does constitution influence hit points?
Or more exactly, how much bonus HP will the character get on level up given various constitution scores?

From https://bardstale.fandom.com/wiki/Attributes

CONSTITUTION ("CN"): Measures healthiness. It takes more damage to kill a character with a high constitution score. This is reflected in bonus "hit points," the character's life span.

Constitution over 14 gives +1 hitpoints per stat per level up, so 18 constitution will give +4 hitpoints. A wizard with 18 constitution would get a max 1-8+4 = 5-12 hitpoints each level up.

Conjurers and Magicians - 1-4 hp
Monks, Sorcerers, Rogues, Wizards - 1-8 hp
Warriors, Paladins, Hunters, Bards - 1-16 hp

Many thanks! Somebody should probably add the wiki link to one of the guides.

I think it was one of the removed links from the "Repositories" sticky. Can't remember what the other site was.

Another question, Is the bonus HP and mana capped at 4 or can it go all the way up to 16 when you get to chapter 3?
