BT2 Oscon's Fort Level 3

I am having problem accessing the northern region of Oscon's Fort Level 3, even after studying a walkthrough map of this level. Seemingly, there are only two ways to get to this area, either by teleporting or accessing a wraparound door. Teleporting from portal to portal only brings me back to the starting location at N17 E17. And the door at N0 E12 (an access to N21 E12) is not viewable or available, even with Cat's Eyes, Greater Revelation, Second Sight, and Pass Door spells. Ironically, when I faced South on N0 E12, a game message appears, "A portal is near".

Has anyone ventured in the northern area of this level? How did you get into this area? I know that getting to this area is not necessary to complete the game but I like to touch every tile of all maps of the game.

Is there something I have to do first before gaining access the portal at N0 E12?

I've been having the same issue. I cannot view that door no matter what I try. That said, it isn't actually necessary to be able to see a secret door in order to walk through it, so I'm going to say that the door simply isn't "there" at all. If there's a way to unlock it somehow (i.e., by interacting in some other part of the dungeon), I haven't discovered it, and I've visited every possible square I can visit. I wonder if it's a bug.

There are several sections in the Bards Tale series that exist essentially to act as a raised middle finger to the concept of a complete map.

This, however, is not one of them, since there are many maps online that show the entire level.

Oh, I *have* that section mapped in a savegame from early 2019. But it doesn't work the same way now...
