Is NOSPEN ring in BT2?

Watchwood Melody I have been told helps in stopping spinners, problem is you don't have it if you imported a Bard from Bards Tale 1, you have to find the Scarlet Bard, I don't know his location, so anyone can tell me it would be much appreciated

Found him.

Could someone explain how Watchwood Melody works, all it seems to do is light the dungeon, how does it stop you from being spun?

Spinners spin you when you step onto one and when you turn on one. If Watchwood Melody is active it only turns you for stepping onto one and you can turn without further randomness from the spinner.

I was under the impression that it also stops the arrow icon from disappearing, how wrong I was, just a dot, so you don't know what direction you are facing, is there an item that stops that from happening in an anti magic area?

MACO is magic. So nope. Can't remember if SCSI gives you the bearing. That works in some zones.

This game is way too exhausting, spinners, anti magic zones. I can only play it in dribs and drabs

It appears that the arrow icon appears only on the minimap, so you can navigate from the minmap when you encounter spinners, woohoot!!

Equip the Master Key and it also nullifies the spinners. :)

Nospen, is it a myth? BT2.

Allegedly, it is a monster drop on level 3 of the Maze of the Dread, but I've been thorough it TWICE! That's a lot of unnecessary grinding, but NO Nospen. Has anyone found one or did they forget to put it into the remastered version?
