Why has the Dreamspell been nerfed?
I found all the words and unlocked the Dreamspell! I am SUPER disappointed that it no longer teleports you to a specified dungeon, but simply takes you to the exit of your current one (and not even to the first level, just 0,0 on your current level apparenly).

@Krome, why was this changed???


Crypt - shield
Maze of Dread - mallet
Fanskar's - heal
Oscon's - strike
The Tower - disrupt

A crypt holds the first, and a maze will lead you to the second...
The third lies in a castle, and a fort for the forth [misspelled in game].
A tall tower keeps the final secret.

Looks like each word is a reference to one of the dreamspell's powers.

I'm super confused. I explored every inch of Fanskar's castle except for the two instant-death squares. I didn't find anything that said "heal." What am I doing wrong?

There was a patch note saying that you DO have to go to each location in order to be able to unlock it. I don't have the locations in my post. Sorry.

Can you confirm that the locations appear in the journal map? I'm trying to figure out which I might have found and which I haven't by looking at dialog locations in the journal.

The original post identifies a location as "Crypt". Should that be "Tombs", or do you mean the Grey Crypt?

I can confirm it since that's how I originally found them to put in this post. The words all appear in caps in their respective messages. Yes, the grey crypt is where that word lies.

I must have gotten in before the patch, as i only have the words for Fanskars and Dargoths marked on my maps. I just used OP's list (Cheers BTW). The location to learn the Dreamspell in The Destiny Stone is N9 E18, if that helps anybody. There is a secret door on the right hand side. Sorry if my post caused any confusion.

Ah.. the order and locations are described by notes in Saradon's Workshop.

The third word can be found in Fanskar's Castle N20 E21, "To the worthy I reveal, a dream to mend, a dream to HEAL."
The fourth word can be found in Oscon's Fortress, level 2, N16 E19, "Sword or mace or axe or pike, dream a dream to gain a STRIKE."

Oh, I see--the Magic Mouth for the Dreamspell apparently doesn't show up on Second Sight. You have to physically enter every square in the dungeon to find it. (Bug?)

I didn't go to even a single one of the locations, and I was just able to learn it simply by typing in the words you provided. Thanks!

I can't find the word in Oscon's. I've mapped almost every square. On level 3, I'm having trouble getting to N 9 E 17. Is that it?

Mapping the squares isn't sufficient--you have to physically enter every square, since the Dreamspell Magic Mouths apparently don't show up on Sorcerer's Sight.

grey crypt is lvl2, N11,E4 = SHIELD
tower is lvl3, N8,E,13 = DISRUPT

Huh, I actually had the one in the tower, just didn't spot it on the map. Anyway, that makes the full set, and after visiting those locations I was able to go back and get the Dreamspell for my casters. Thanks!
