I love the Bard's Tale remake, (even though I haven't had too much time to play it yet) but oh what I wouldn't give for a quality remake of the REALMS OF ARKANIA series.

Shroud of the avatar released shortly ago I think. You can think of it as Lord British next game, if nothing else. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if it is good, though.

Yes, done by the same guys that are doing the BT Trilogy remaster (Krome). It's part of the Wasteland 30th anniversary collection.

Only one person mentioned Might and Magic remakes! Those games were argueably better then wizardy. I am a huge ultima fan as well so I cannot decide if its better then ultima 4/5 :)

I'd much rather see Wizardry 1-5, Ultima 1-5 and SSI's Gold Box games, none of which (except some very late Gold Box entries) even support more than EGA graphics (CGA for the Wizardries). :)

I would love to see at least Wizardry I-III remastered with a improved random number generator. They are fairly simple game now so should take less to make them then Bard's Tale did.

I hope they continue with remaking old RPG games as they have done an amazing job with the Bard's Tale Trilogy.

The Gold Box Games would be my preference for a next series to remake. I would want a complete overhaul of Unlimited Adventures and then they use that to produce the modules for all of the old games. There are lots of features they could do to make an amazing UA remake. While the UA community has obviously shrunk over time, there are still modules being made and I think a remastered Unlimited Adventures would result in a revitalized community more than some of the other games would do. It would also allow Krome to develop new modules and world sets for ongoing revenue over time. I'd pay extra for a Planescape or Starjammer module/world set or something like that.

Wizardry 6-7 are two of my favorite RPG's of all time, but 1-3 are classic. I doubt it will happen though as I think they wouldn't make as much money as some of the other series and you can't get the original games digitally anywhere.

Might and Magic and Ultima would be good too but I'm less attached to those. M&M 4-8 were great but I never really got into the first three.

A remake of the first 5 Might and Magic games with at least 800 X 600 resolution would be cool. Especially if it supported importing of your character through all the games so you could start in the first and then take them all the way through to World of Xeen.

Remaking the first 6 Wizardry games would also be cool.
