(Note that once you've defeated a guardian, it does not reappear after going back to the AG or leaving and then returning the game.)
Nice one! Looking at the old map it looks like you have a few extra guardian statues such as the one in Tempest Street on the left. I've noticed the ones in this game protecting iron gates etc, I thought there used to be more closing off parts of the city. I need more playtime and to explore more though, on level 3 characters at the mo. :)
Neat! What are the Stables on the map?
I don't believe the stables actually offered or did anything in the game. Like with this version you are just told monsters have eaten all the horses or something lol.
Cheers thats cool. I was thinking there were some lower strength ones, such as a Barbarian one or something, maybe I am thinking of the Samurai guardian.
Wow - you know what - I've played BT quite a bit over the years and had that map as my desktop wallpaper, and I _never_ noticed that the Review Board had a colored-in roof. I think the inn next door always drew my eye away from it. Good find!

Oh wow. Grinding the samurai was how I survived as a kid. Probably for the best, but I was oddly looking forward to doing that again in this playthrough.
