Leveling question
Hi guys it appears I have leveled my group. i.e. 21XX/2000 experience.

It still says I'm level one though and it's not giving me any options. I went back to the guild hall but, still nada. Obviously I'm doing something wrong or I don't understand the xp system.
Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

Find the review board.

I think the review board shows up on your town map even if you've never been there, but in case it doesn't, from the adventurer's guild:

1. Head north up the street until a building is in the way.
2. Head west until a building is in the way.
3. Head south a few steps and keep an eye on the buildings on your left (the east). It's one of those.

What I want to know is. . should I save before I level up like in the original. I leveled up at the review board and then realized. . .crap I likely should have done that 1000 times with a reload between each character. . then I remember I don't min / max. . then I thought I should ;)

no need to min/max. By level 28 or so spells aren't going to land on you anymore and the fact they greatly reduced levelling requirements, you can hit 28 suprisingly fast. They are also crazy generous with the gold in this remake. Sort of wish they would tune those back to the original levels because having these excesses takes a lot of the challenge out of the game.

The one thing that upsets me here is that 100K per level is all that is needed to level up. I HOPE in BT2 and BT3 that the exp scales again, up to millions needed per level...

Pretty sure the plan is to revert xp to the original values in the Legacy versions. The remastered versions certainly seem to have qol enhancments more in mind. (Like, say, implementing OLAY in BT1...nudge, nudge, wink, wink...)
