Is This Game Manageable in Multiplayer

I've been playing this game so far in single player and its kind of oppressively difficult. Not like the dark souls its my fault difficulty; it's more like the screen if full of bullets and i die 2 seconds after re spawning. Is this all around a better time in multiplayer?

It's actively worse in multiplayer. There are more enemies, more shots from friendlies, and the screen is widened making your position even more difficult to see. Even the on screen prompts for intel and exfil cover up essential UI like your HUD. Throw in the fact that not everybody is very good at the game (meaning YOU have to pull their weight), and you have an experience that is so close to being fun and chaotic, but ultimately ends up frustrating and annoying. If an option for minimal effects was added, it would make the game 10x better.

I think the ideal group for me personally is 2 or 3. You can have another, but there's more chaos.

Multiplayer is fine with 2-3 players but becomes awful (in a fun way) when it hits 4

normal levels in 2-person multiplayer are ok. I agree with rabbit for the most part. The difficulty spike in the mission 2 boss is absolutely terrible. I'm level 60 and it doesn't even matter.
