PVP based idle game with clans being a big part of it. Yet they have no new servers for steam launch. So you're going up against clans/people that have had the game for years.

And not to mention all of the p2w elements this game has....

TL:DR: I've played since 2021 and reached level 30,000
Early game fun / everything else p2w

Pro's:
The early game plays exactly like clicker heroes.
Some of the mini games are quite fun (Dragon draft)
There are many heroes and some interesting combinations

Con's:
Mid and late game are extremely P2W, multiple heroes that cost upwards of $1,000 (latest 3 are $3,000 EACH)
Yes you can play without spending but as event / siege rewards are tied to your positional ranking each week you
need to place better than other people, this is impossible F2P as premium heroes offer huge bonuses.

Clans make up a large part of this game, there are weekly rewards for being in them however a handful of clans run
a monopoly on this game, some clans charge $100+ PER WEEK to be a clan member, again you can play without
being in a top top clan but your progress will be incredibly slow and grindy / impossible in some areas i.e. Lair / Hunt

Customer support barely exists / is not helpful (only really replies to payment issues)
If you're not writing in Russian then good luck getting any kind of response.

Devs play heavy favourites with Russian players, the premium currency "Voids" will cost you the equivalent of $10
per void regardless of where you live, except Russia where they are basically under half price.
Some big players have been permanently banned for disagreeing with them or for causing too much trouble for their
favourite players

The game mechanic of recipe collecting is flawed by the fact that some of the older stronger recipes are no longer
attainable which conveniently leads to only a handful of certain players having access to game warping heroes,
which in turn allows them to control all high end aspects of competition / clans, meaning regardless of how much you
spend you will not be able to compete with the top players

They have not launched new servers for Steam release. You are going up against clans/people that have had the game for years. Not to mention the horrible monetization, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money here.

The numbers don't add up. Artifacts say that they'll increase damage by 15% for each level of the artifact but they don't. A power-up using magic bottles (a currency that is highly limited and likely eventually available mostly as an indirect purchase) says that it will double your damage output and it doesn't. Basically, the game lies to the player constantly and the result is that you can't make informed decisions. It's an incremental game, so not making the best decision isn't the end of the world, but it's also an incremental game so the only gameplay is in trying to make the best decisions and thus we're robbed of that gameplay.

This is the kind of thing that mobile games get away with because they have to have a third-party willing to give a lot of the money they take back and it is why they are reluctant to get on Steam without conditions that allow them to not be subject to refunds when they screw over players - something that Valve seems to be okay with or uninformed about as the policy for refunds after buying DLC or an in-game currency is that there are no refunds. To some degree that makes sense as there would be people who would choose to scout these types of games by buying crazy amounts of power-ups and then asking for refunds afterward so that they can scout out how the game's work and find the best advancement path for free or for low investment. . . or, more likely, they'd simply move on after having had the "fun" of cheesing an incremental game; however, that means that as consumers we have to be extra wary of these types of games. . . and this one lies constantly.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app!

Dungeon Crusher: Soul Hunters is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free.

There's only a superficial "game" here.

This godawful mobile scam is advertised as an "idler" which means you basically don't even play it, you just watch it, and it's pointless because it's just endless idle grinding to make numbers go up so you can buy more stuff. Speaking of buying more stuff, there's simply no aspect of this mobile app that isn't infested with toxic monetisation... heck, if you fail an idle run they block you from playing for half a day unless you hand your credit card to the mobile devs behind this. That's cancer.

So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop.

Thus, the true purpose of this mobile app is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it shouldn't be considered a real game because it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library.

Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library.

This is only superficially free. The real purpose for this game is for the developer to farm and exploit Steam Inventory items that drop through the game. They can then sell these items in bulk on the Steam Community Marketplace. This kind of Steam abuse, combined with a minimum-viable-product non-game, does no service to gamers whatsoever.

This is pollution... it's harmful to everyone. It hurts genuine indie devs, who have to compete with this pollution to get visibility for their sincerely made games. It makes indie devs look bad. It makes it harder for gamers to find those genuinely made games.

Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it?

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Free game. Not well explained. PVP is impossible. Idle time doesn't provide progression. Just continuous currency gain at current level.

They have the PVP set up in a bad way. When you lose one match you lose the use of your people which means your game dont progress at all for 12 hours. Of course you can spend things that cost money to speed it up which is most likely why its set up this way. You are also always matched with people that destroy you. Even the first match its really hard and most of the time I dont even make it to the next match. Stay away that ruins the game for me because there is a whole part of the game I cant play.

PVP isnt the only thing you lose fighters on. boss fights. Guild fights and a few other ways. That really sucked the fun out of the game and made it stupid!

Edit: Also the prestige points are set up like crap. When you get points it goes to the DPS but when you buy upgrades it takes it away. This way to set up an idle game is stupid. It makes progression really slow.

Game is okish, but steam port is awful. Also you are bound on clan (mates) to much and this game seems dead communitywise. You can port your account to other plattforms (so you can pay2win/progress lol). Also the dev don't respond in the steam discussion. This is just a cheap way of advertising a mobile/browser game in steam.

If the dev would add a steam only server without pay2win feature for anyone.. This could be a nice game and would be different game experience to the other servers. It's better than clicker heroes 1 (it's very like that) imo. Just sell that game for some bucks.. instead.

You can get every achievement - so for playing a bit and get them, it's a cool game but i don't support that sloppy lazy steam implement. That's why i give a thumb down.
