Have you arranged the cutouts in the wheel thing? Have you used that item to retrieve another item from the conveyer belt?

Ah yes, I knew there was something with the wheel but I can't get the Cowboy and the Native American to the wheel so...
There should be an astronaut, a football guy, and a pizza guy. If you look at the bottom wall picture (the basketball player) he seems to be missing something that usually comes in pairs.

Yeah, that was a pain of a puzzle. Playing myself I couldn't work out what to do. But as soon as I started watching a stream of another Japanese player who couldn't solve it I noticed the visual clue. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and stop focusing on playing, and start looking instead.
In the same area, Is there something to actually be done with removing the boards above the lane? I didn't see anything extra / find anything. Spent a good half hour searching before progressing to the nightmare that is the conveyor belt section.

1) Do the wheel puzzle to drop the bowling ball
2) Do the bowling ball QTE to throw a strike
3) Flip the power switch right behind where you threw the ball to make the lever spin forward
4) When the ball returns with the crank, use the crank on the wheel, rotate it, get gibbed, then roll forward to the next section
