Armor system improvements
We need to be able to armor (and maybe also paint) hull blocks by sides. Just like in SP Rocket.
This is the long requested feature we need. It will make it much easier to armor ships and also enable more realistic armor weight calculations

hahaha I came here, no idea what "SP Rocket" is, to say "also just like in the tank designer Sprocket". Yes, this is the way. Not 500,000 ton battleships with 16" deck armor, and armor on every side of interior blocks. BUT, I'm not sure this is something the designer can change at this point, as I think it would be a complete rewrite to use Freeform (or whatever).

In SP Rocket hull compartment sides are armored separately, rather than by full volume like in NavalArt

I'm familiar, I've played that quite a bit too. (Not sure why you are typing it that way if you want to make a suggestion, unless it was accidental.) Much better system for armor. And the geometric internals are going to turn out quite nicely.

We need at least just better armor system here, so building armored ships is not as difficult, as it is now. New players have a hard time when trying to build battleships, same even for experienced ones. To build a proper battleship, you need either to hollow out the hull, either to clip floating parts inside. All that doubles or even tripples the part count, resulting in worse performance, especially in multiplayer
