better armor selection
we need more armor options, like different metals, thicker armor, such as 2000 mm, and maybe an armor thickness editor.

2k mm for armour is absourd and would only serve to make SuperBBs more op

you apparently don't know what a ship is. I'm pretty sure that something tall 230m is a pretty huge skyscraper and not a ship.

honestly makes sense, modern main battle tanks have armor equivalents well above 1k. the leopard 2a5 has/had an armor equivalent thickness of 2.5k

Well it makes sense on a tank. Modern ships have little to no armor.

The Yamato had (as far as I know) the thickest belt armour of any ship and it was 18" or about 450mm, so higher than that would be very difficult to work with in a practical stand point. As far as comparing ships to tanks, it's a case of apples and oranges. Tanks can use Chobham composites and reactive plating that make the "effective" armour seem much thicker considering it is being compared to homogeneous steel. That just wouldn't be practical or feasible for the sheer size of even a frigate let alone a capital ship.

2000mm is a bit much. Yamato, the largest battleship ever built, didn't even have 1/4 of that on her belt.

Composite and layered armour would be cool though.

What is it, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ star destroyer on the sea? 1.5 KM wide for a ship is beyond illogical.

I think his the says a lot about the builder. If someone wants to build a mobile island bunker, have at it.

PS Commander Reed - with a pic of Riker??? Is there a story behind that?
