computer freezes
Does anyone else but me has the problem, that during playing daymare: 1998 your computer gets a blue screen of death and resets or it just freezes? That did happen to me like 3 times in a short period of time during chapter 2.

Yeah, Daymare has lots of problems with Nvidia and Intel components. I loaded it up again on my Nvidia 8GB GPU with Intel i7 16 GB just to see if there was any change and it's pretty bad.

The same game on my less powerful Redeon 8GB GPU with AMD FX 8GB runs much better. It makes no sense but it seems we're stuck with it.

thing I did was deinstall it just to never play it again. After the computer froze it took a damn long time, till my PC did restart. After throwing the game from my hard-drive my PC starts as fast as usual again. Not like my old PC, taking like 5 minutes.

You should check on Event Viewer>Windows Log>System what was bsod about. Check critical only, right click on System > Filter Current Log
And see only Critical / ~Date&Time

It could be more info (or just only Kernel Power "unexpecter shutdown") on event.

Windows crashes mean a problem with your PC or a problem with driver's. It's virtually impossible for an application to crash windows anymore. If I had to guess, I'd guess it's video drivers or your machine is simply overheating.

Another thing that suggests overheating. I had my own issue with the game so I can't play it either but no crashing.
