I mean the video showcased some issues but honestly none of it put me off. In fact if the video was meant to dissuade people from getting it, it's actually done the reverse since I'm actually quite interested in the game now despite never hearing about it before said video.
They forget where companies like Capcom came from ! It takes time and support from gamers for a company to have the resources to produce EXACTLY what their "vision" is with amazing technical precision.
I can tell by watching what this start up video game company was able to accomplish, that they DO deserve our support.
They deserve to make games. They clearly have passion.
Yeah, CAPCOM have looked their work doing a fanmade remake of 2, they dont simple asked for them stop the remake project, but also invited them to visit Capcom in Tokyo for what i heard and read around on media
Both for a fan and a game maker, i think that must be a dream to come true, and let me say, how much people receive invites like this one?
Cheers, Marcel
How classic zombies work:
- they bite you, YOU DIE and eventually become one of them
- there's no "being immune" or other nonsense. YOU GET BITTEN, YOU DIE
- they die when you damage the brain
So you, dear whiners and some silly youtuber are simply ignorant in my opinion.
The dude in this game isn't magically "immune" and protagonist that wouldn't withstand a single hit would be pretty lame, so much like in older Resident Evil games you get to wrestle the enemies - but the more you wrestle, the bigger the "chance" you'll loose next time.
How do you people not get this? It's a simple, decent and actually kind of smart design.
Agreed, grab animation needs a bit of rework, maybe. Maybe it should take more stamina to push them away and once you get out of stam (lets say, already on second attempt) - they will bite your ass. And bite it hard.
Old-ish thread . . . but what does that matter really ?
Those things can be considered a cherry on top
But if the core survival horror experience is good then its pretty much irrelevant
They are definitely fubaring the core by leaving out the ability for zombies actually to bite you from their zombie game.
Doesn't the same kinda go for the RE2 remake ? once you know what you're doing any bite will be very rare, and if you get unlucky, just use a sub weapon and off you go
besides, there's still a few unknowns, maybe only the ' higher ' tier of infected / mutants or whatever will try to bite ? Maybe they'll insta bite on low stamina + low health ?
( lore wise I'd assume that the transformation . . while it makes them dangerous, it doesn't really enhance them like T-virus zombies, so its possible to push them off . . so long as you don't get overwhelmed )
