I think you get more resources/time when you increase the difficulty via CJ and farm in lower levels. Search for a sweet spot where the fights don't take too long.
Ah, yeah, him...I'll take a look at what he does more - since Siralim 3's already a pretty challenging game, I don't invite additional challenge, even at the prospect of more rewards, but yeah, maybe I can do some low-level grinding with the Heart of Darkness or something, see if I can farm some resources (especially Power) for a while. Everything costs 10,000 Power now!
Power becomes a lot more necessary post-game, as Alteration Spells, modifying Sigils, and summoning Nether Crucible bosses all take Power exclusively. Modifying Sigils can end up eating a lot of Power if you're picky about what you wanna do, since the cost doubles with each modification: 500 Power, 1,000 Power, 2,000 Power, 4,000 Power, 8,000 Power, 16,000 Power, etc.
