I stopped playing this game forever ago, because at the end of the story when you...do what you do at the end, my team of hunters just got demolished, then I did some grinding for a few hours and they got demolished again...so I gave up.
It doesn’t take much to make this build work. You just need a pit wraith redeemer, or it’s respective trait to apply debuffs at the start of battle, and she will do the rest. You can boost it with speed buffs, as her damage is based on that.
I’ve actually abandoned this build for a while as it’s just boring... if not incredibly effective... I’ve tried to find other early endgame builds that are effective for attack builds, but DQ is all that really seems to come up. The other builds floating around are from players in quadruple digit levels... I’m under 300 still....
I discovered the centaur chaser and am using it as my main atm. Better than Ottum or fiend thrasher so far... I’m considering using the potion and applying the thrashers trait to it, but I don’t have the knife yet. I can’t find anyone else who has done this and have no idea how effective it will be.
But... hey... yolo!
I think half the point of this game is making build fails and still coming back like the addicted masochist you are... the dev strikes me as a bit sadistic.
You need to increase the loot tables with CJ and talismans in order to find reasonable amounts of the mid-game loot like Knives and Books. Going through it at the base rate is, I fully admit, an exercise in masochism.
