Tavern Brawl.
So I unlocked this quite a while ago, and just ignored it for a long time. So I must have forgotten the rules or something.

Why does everything start with scorn? This seems kind of pointless to me. "Hey fight another player's team but you can't actually fight!"

Tavern has weekly rules, this week everyone starts with Scorn. And even attack teams should use spells! Try Stampede that you can buy from Torun.

Huh. Looks like I will just be skipping the tavern some more.

Honestly, you're not missing much. I love this game, but tavern brawls are really unfun. You'll be fighting mostly very cheesy teams made to knock you out as soon as possible, with barely any chance to fight back. It would be cool if there's more varied and original teams instead of the same cheap builds.

The Tavern is more a place to demo cool team ideas, and get them from others, than it is a serious place to grind. It took some time to even put rewards for it - the premise was pretty much "look at this ridiculous team comp" and nothing else for awhile.

yeah well...now that there are some substantial rewards and a mechanic based around it, it needs to be separated into divisions, with level caps so that the experience is *FAIRER* for all players of all levels.

You realize all tavern brawl participants are set to level 100, yes?

who has access to better creatures, spell gems and artifacts...a lvl 50 player, or a level 1000 player?

Granted. My bad, thought you were talking about the creatures.

Its all good bro....but yeah, lack of limits or divisions really really kills this mode entirely. Even the cheesiest of cheeze wizard games like Onmyoji etc have divisions to prevent at least some of the seal clubbing.
