You can not have 2x bonus with as much VC as possible, not even close to that.
When I was able to redo the contract after the second year, I got the 2x bonus with 840 VC. Even though I am champion and winning both MVPs, plus other prizes and records during the season.
I have tried several possible ways to maintain the bonus. You can close the game by force, in the trading window, and try again.
The number of years does not seem to have much effect on the negotiation.
But ... So far I have not understood what this bonus does, I did not notice any difference. I searched and there seems to be no consensus on what this bonus actually does. What seems most likely is that it just multiplies what the name says, the teammate grid bonus (mypoints) and that's it. I do not know, I can not remember the amount of points that was given for each classification.
It's teammate grade bonus. 1.5x contract gives 840 VC per game for A+ (if i remember correctly) and 2.0x contract gives 960 VC for A+ I suggest 2. year go with the max salary 1100 VC and 1.5x Grade Bonus, I don't think you can get 1.75x bonus and 1100 VC salary for the 1. pro year either.
There's a lot of speculation about what it does, but it CLEARLY affects the VC.
Also, however mypoints are gained, is extremely skewed by the upper tier. It's just, awful. lol.
But, good to know.
For example, normally you get 300VC for an A+, with the Teammate Multiplier at x2 you would get 600VC when having an A+.
So it's smarter to have a max salary paid contract for example 1.1k VC and zero mutliplier bonus, than having a 840 vc salary and 2x multiplier.
The benefit would only be +40 vc, but you would've to get every game an A+.
What about endorsments? They obviously removed per game incentives for park/proam games and most incentives you choose from lvl4 contracs are useless in park/proam (50pt games, 20pt-12asist or reb, triple doubles, player of the game. 3stl 3blk etc). Only useful ones would be posterizing dunks and limitless threes, if they even work in online modes that is.
And since endorsment events happen once in a blue moon and give like 4k only, shoe deal is basically useless for people that don't play mycareer?
Blessed be the easy VC that happens on release day every year. :D
Of course if you can get those A+ go for it :D.
how?
I get like 10k per (in fans) and 10 mil for the shoe deal.
Then you get 10k for some stat incentives.
50 point games, 8 made threes, triple double, quad double, 15 assists, 15 rebounds etc. All of those give you 10k each.
You need 25mil for the max level shoe deal, I'm at like 14.5 now, 20ish games into the second season. Although I don't really care about it since as we already discussed, shoe deal is pretty useless this year.
Pretty dumb that you don't get a single extra fan for winning individual or team awards.
