Miss wide open shot when have 90 midrange

i dont get it why i miss why open shot when have 90 on shooting is this because i have bronse badges ?

And I just played vs GSW, where Curry & Klay were shooting heavy contested threes and landed 9/10, sure, realism lol

personally, i feel like this is the most skillbased 2k in years. i feel like almost (almost) every shot i miss, is due to me not timing it right. i also like how you can actually miss close-range shots this year, if you don't time it right. inside players can't hit from deep consistently at all, unless wide WIDE open (like on kick-outs after rebounds). builds without handles can't hold onto the ball when overdribbling, shooting builds don't do those crazy atheltic dunks from last year's 2k...

try creating a custom jumpshot that you havent bought yet... everything from base to the release should not be one in your list

I notice this problem too. I am a pure sharpshooter with high 80s almost 90s midrange and 3s stats. But I cannot hit anything.

There are several factors to shooting, and badges DO actually help. Are your feet set, when you shoot? Are you comfortable with your jumpshot? Are you watching the shot meter, or your player? With a 90 mid, you should be nearly lights out. My advice is this. Take some time at your mycourt, and practice. Pick up on any cues you can see with your player. Anything that hints to the best possible timing. There are default shots that have easy cues. Aldridge, Lillard, Irving, Bryant, etc. Keep trying, man. You should be lights out.
